See Christ in everyone.  Feed Christ.  Serve Christ.

MMSK Service Station is a non-profit organization that is rooted in the street ministry model - to serve our neighbors in need, meeting them where they are.  Whether those needs are food, housing, employment, support groups, or any thing in between, we use Jesus as our model to love and serve all without judgement or price.

About the Executive Director

Laura was born & raised in Michigan and has spent all but 6 years of her life in Southwest Michigan.  Mid-career, she acquired a job in Washington State and she and her family suddenly found themselves living in a desert on the eastern side of the Cascade Mountains.  It was there, in the desert, that God found her (or she found God :) ).  It's an amazing story of Him; if you'd like to read it, Google Laura Richards & Catholic Digest.  Let's just say, Jesus is a stalker and, whether you know it or not, he's been with you your whole life.

Laura has spent the last 10 years learning prayer as a Secular Discalced Carmelite, she has lectored and taught catechism at her church and has loved on foster kids as a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA).

As the Executive Director of MMSK, her heart is for feeding the hungry and loving on and supporting vulnerable populations in our community.
